Donna Williams has been my yoga teacher for many years. I value her deep knowledge of the practice both physically and spiritually, her teaching expertise, and her heartfelt compassionate insights into our aging bodies. She is calm and gentle, thoughtful and supportive, both on-screen in Zoom classes, and in-person in the yoga studio. I also appreciate the way she integrates her Somatic studies with the Hatha Yoga. -TF
It is said that your mobility rests on your feet and peace of mind is located in your head. So isn't it fortunate that Donna Williams is able to skillfully massage both of these vital areas. Donna combines her sensitive and calm nature with her experience and training in Reflexology and Ayurvedic Head Massage to offer a wonderful massage. The only drawback I find is that it is so relaxing I have trouble staying awake. -Vicki T.
Whether you are a novice or more advanced yoga practitioner, I highly recommend studying with Donna. She has many years of experience teaching yoga and in addition, her knowledge of how the human body works allows one to appreciate more fully the benefits of yoga practice.
Apart from helping me to retain flexibility and balance as I age, in Donna’s classes I have learned the benefits of cultivating mindfulness/stillness through breath work and meditation. It’s a great opportunity to be with a group and study on your own as well, to increase body awareness and be calm in these turbulent times.

I registered for Donna's Restorative Yoga several years ago because it was recommended as a great way to learn to relax. It was wonderful. I did learn to relax. We used to drive home from class wishing we could just stay in Savasana and not have to blunt the calm feeling with the trip home. Enter COVID and Zoom classes! Now I can attend Donna's yoga class from the comfort of home and stay in that mellow place as long as I like. I have moved on to Somatic and Gentle yoga classes and I love them all, but the Restorative class--with Donna's gentle voice--will always be my guaranteed way to relax and unwind. I love these classes. Thank you, Donna! - Judi
Donna's teaching style offers students an opportunity to find depth in their practice by encouraging everyone to approach each session with an open mind and eye. She uses props and personalized modifications to allow folks to access poses that might otherwise intimidate or discourage them. She blends holding poses, flow, and mindful exploration in a way that always leaves me feeling tended to mind and body.

I have been taking classes and retreats with Donna for many years. Donna is an excellent teacher who is dedicated to the practice. Donna leads you through her classes mindfully and slowly whilst offering you personal guidance. You are able to move through the practice at your own pace as Donna tailors to your abilities. Her sessions promote healing, deep relaxation, increased flexibility, while strengthening your mind-body connection. - LM
I have been part of Donnas somatic yoga for several years. I feel the gentle repetitive exercises have helped me undo years of tension. I have incorporated them into a soothing nightly practice that has improved my breathing and my posture. And I so appreciate being able to take Donna’s zoom classes in the comfort and ease of my own home.

Donna’s yoga teaching style is wonderfully relaxing and meditative yet deceivingly challenging. Her sessions leave me grounded, balanced and at peace. - Warren K.
Over the years I have taken a number of yoga classes with Donna. The structure is conducive to learning proper asana positions while providing options for varying degrees of ability and mobility. Donna has such a particularly calming voice in the delivery of her directions that we have asked for recordings! I have learned so much about yoga such as breath work, philosophy, and the structure of postures. For all of these reasons I couldn’t recommend Donna’s classes enough.
I have also had the good fortune to go on a number of yoga retreats with Donna, both local and international adventures. In particular I have travelled to Costa Rica where Donna organized a retreat in a beautiful seaside residence. We had morning and afternoon yoga sessions and meditation in the evening. The food, also prepared by Donna, was sublimely delicious and very healthy with local ingredients. We also explored a number of nature reserves, parks and other sites of interest. I felt so restored and invigorated by this experience. - Gail N.
“After living with sciatic and related pain on & off for 10 years I went to Donna’s restorative yoga class and right away felt something was different after the first class. I kept going and was finding more & more relief that was lasting longer and longer after each class. I then started the Mindful Somatic Yoga class with Donna and when Covid hit we went online with the classes, they are working out great. I am very happy to say I am mostly pain free - which believe me is a mini miracle - I can walk without pain. I never get the searing sciatic pain anymore. Donna is the real deal. Take her class. I am in my late 60’s and got out of shape from all the pain and not moving much but I find the classes very doable and truly enjoyable while my over health keeps improving.” -Kathleen S
